For Families

Renewal Kids

Renewal Kids partners with parents to disciple children and guide the next generation in knowing and following Jesus. Our heart is for every child to understand they are loved by God, welcomed by His church, and called to love one another. Renewal Kids helps shape a "4G" culture of loving God, loving the church, loving one another, and going to share the gospel. Our Sunday ministry serves kids from birth through 5th grade, providing safe spaces where they can grow in faith and learn what it means to walk with Jesus.

What to Expect
  • Safe, secure, and engaging care for babies and toddlers.
  • K-5th graders experience God's Word through age-appropriate teaching, games, crafts, singing, and connection.
  • All Renewal Kids staff are trained and background-checked.
  • Two-adult policy: no adult is ever alone with a child.
  • Check-in stations remain secure and staffed during the service.
  • Staff are trained for emergencies and evacuation procedures.
  • Allergy-aware policies ensure staff are notified of individual needs.

Check-in opens at 9:45 AM for the 10:00 AM service (infants-5th grade).

For Students

Renewal Students

Renewal Students partners with parents to disciple middle and high school students, and guide the next generation in knowing and following Jesus. We are committed to helping students discover their identity in Christ, build authentic community, and live out their faith with purpose. Renewal Students fosters a "4G" culture of loving God, loving the church, loving one another, and going to share the gospel. Our ministry serves students from 6th through 12th grade, providing engaging environments where they can grow in their relationship with God, connect with peers, and be equipped to impact their world for Christ.

What to Expect

Middle School Youth Group

Wednesdays, 7:00-8:30 PM at the ARC in West Chicago

  • Fun and engaging large-group games and activities that build friendships.
  • Biblical teaching that helps students understand who God is and how to follow Him.
  • Small group discussions where they can ask questions and connect.

High School Small Group

Wednesdays, 7:00-8:30 PM at Basecamp (Renewal Offices)

  • A welcoming space to share life, ask honest questions, and grow in faith together.
  • Deeper Bible study and conversation aimed at real-life application.
  • Meaningful relationships with peers and leaders who encourage them to live out their faith.

Join the Renewal Kids Team! Every Sunday, Renewal Kids has the privilege of walking alongside parents to disciple the next generation. From rocking babies in the nursery to leading a small group of 5th graders, volunteers are planting seeds of faith that will grow for a lifetime.

When you serve in Renewal Kids, you're not just filling a spot-you're shaping young hearts to know and follow Jesus. You have the chance to show them God's love, encourage them in His Word, and model what it means to walk with Him.

Renewal Students Team

Join the Renewal Students Team! Did you know a student needs five adult Jesus-followers in their life to build a foundation of faith that can last a lifetime? That's exactly what Renewal Students is all about-walking alongside middle and high school students as they grow in their relationship with Jesus.

We are looking for adults who want to make a difference: lead small groups, hang out with students, and model what it means to follow Christ. Your presence, guidance, and example can shape a student's faith in ways that last far beyond Wednesday night.
